But let me ask you another question,
"How is that working out?"
Often we find that even when we do get where we are going, or get what we were seeking, it just doesn't satisfy like we thought it would. In fact, it usually tries to draw us in further with the promise that greater commitment, greater sacrifice, and with longer hours, we will reach our goals. And when we do reach that pinnacle, when we have given all that we can; we find that the victory is short, and that our success is without lasting significance leaving us feeling disappointed and confused. Wondering if it was worth it. Wondering if there isn't a better goal to be pursuing. The good news is, you aren't alone. The truth is we all are asking this same question. We are all trying to find the path that leads to fulfillment, satisfaction, and lasting significance. We may be taking different paths, but we are all asking this same question.
Jesus answered this question for his disciples this way.
"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
And that makes good sense. How will we ever find what it is that will bring us fulfillment, satisfaction and lasting significance, except by seeking the answers from the One who made us. And that is the journey that we are on. Seeking to find the answers to our lives questions, seeking to find fulfillment, satisfaction and lasting significance, by following the One the Bible describes as
"the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross"
As we seek to be followers of Jesus, we would like to invite you to share this journey with us. It doesn't matter where you are today, whatever path you have been on, whatever goals you may have been seeking in the past. Jesus encourages us all to come. To follow Him. To listen to His teachings. To decide for ourselves if He is,
"the Way, the Truth, and the Life."
And then to become His disciples, following Him. Allowing Him to lead us on a path that leads to fulfillment, satisfaction, and lasting significance. One day at a time, one step at a time.
We hope you will join us one day very soon.

Thanks for joining us on the journey.
As we head out together, let me start by asking you a simple question.
"Where are you going?"
That's a common question that we hear all the time. But have you ever really thought about what that means? The truth is, every minute of our day we are asking ourselves that same question in one form or another
And our answers are based on what it is that we really think will make us happy. What we think will bring us fulfillment and satisfaction. What we think will take away our sadness, our lonliness, our frustrations, or our disappointments, and replace them with whatever it is that we hope will ultimately give us peace.
